Flat is exact before the order exists. The band is drawn once, when the deposit address is issued — so the quote is a range, and the response says so.
When a pair has no band, the range collapses and exact turns true. Saying «approximately» about a number we know exactly is the same lie, inverted.
No rate limit tiers, no account, no terms of use for reading. Poll politely and it will keep working.
Responses carry cache-control of thirty seconds. Rates move slower than that.
